HSE Practitioner Apprenticeship Program
The HSE Practitioner Apprenticeship Program provides learners with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience required to become competent HSE professionals. The student will be well equipped to contribute to the development and implementation of effective safety, health, and environmental practices in their workplaces. The program ensures they can manage risks, improve workplace safety culture, comply with regulations, and drive continuous improvements in HSE management systems.

INCIDENT INVESTIGATION
In this training program, participants will be able to effectively investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and contribute to a safer working environment. They will also understand the broader impact of incident investigations on organizational safety culture, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

HSE INDUCTION
This course familiarizes the candidate with the basic concepts of safety, the basic definitions of Hazard and Risk and the differences between them, HSE tools and procedures to keep them safe, how to identify hazards and apply appropriate control measures, common workplace hazards associated with workplace activities and with specific hazards associated with working in the Oil and Gas industries, the real meaning of “The Environment” and to introduce the legal edicts that govern all workplaces in the Oman Energy and minerals industry and into complying with the law to prevent legal consequences being applied to individuals or organizations.

H2S AWARENESS AND ESCAPE
The aim of the course is to be able toimmediately detect and effectively respond in case of emergency resulted from Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) and Sulfur dioxide (SO₂) release.

SELF CONTAINED BREATHING APPARATUS & CONFINED SPACE ENTRY (SCBA)
The participants should be fully capable of safely entering and working in confined spaces with SCBA equipment. They will understand how to mitigate risks, comply with relevant regulations, perform atmospheric testing, and respond to emergencies in confined spaces. Additionally, they will be prepared to conduct routine checks on SCBA equipment, use it correctly, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed to protect both individual workers and teams during confined space operations.

FIRE WARDEN
Fire Warden Training, provides the essential skills and knowledge required to take on the responsibilities of a Fire Warden. They will understand fire prevention, how to handle fire emergencies, manage evacuations, use fire safety equipment, and assist in the protection of life and property during a fire. Additionally, they will be prepared to train other employees in fire safety practices and help foster a safer workplace overall.

FIRST AID
This training provides learners with the necessary knowledge and understanding of the importance and the roles and responsibilities of a first aider. It provides learners with the skills to deal with first aid incidents at workplace, and skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); providing first aid to a casualty who is choking and dealing with external bleeding and shock, and safely using an AED.

CHEMICAL HANDLING MANAGEMENT
The course aims at providing athorough understanding of how to safely handle, store, transport, and dispose of chemicals in the workplace. The candidates are equipped to identify potential hazards, comply with regulations, use the necessary protective equipment, and respond effectively in emergencies. Additionally, participants will understand the importance of continuous training, risk assessments, and implementing best practices to create a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

AUTHORIZED GAS TESTER
This training will equip participant with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience to safely conduct gas testing in a variety of environments. They will understand the types of hazardous gases, proper use of gas detection equipment, regulatory requirements, and emergency response procedures. Additionally, they will be able to ensure compliance with safety standards, protect workers from hazardous gas exposure, and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

HSE LEADERSHIP
The training equips with the knowledge, tools and leadership techniques to effectively lead and promote health, safety, and environmental initiatives within their organizations. They will understand the importance of leading by example, fostering a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and driving continuous improvement in safety performance. Additionally, they will be prepared to manage risks, handle crises, coach employees, and implement strategies that ensure a safe and healthy workplace.

LOCK OUT TAG OUT
This training is designed to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, repaired, serviced, or upgraded to remain in a safe operating condition. Participants will gain an understanding of the principles of de-energizing equipment, the importance of maintaining safety during maintenance activities, and how to identify locked-out equipment using tags. The course promotes awareness and compliance with safety procedures to prevent accidents during equipment servicing.

JOB HAZARD ANALYSIS
Risk assessment is essential when jobs have the potential to cause serious harm to life, assets, or reputation—especially when there is a history of incidents, when routine tasks are carried out in unusual conditions, or when new technologies, equipment, or processes are introduced. It is also necessary for non-routine jobs or when evaluating the effectiveness of existing work methods.

The course covers critical aspects of safe work authorization and control processes in high-risk environments.
